Hip, Hip Hooray! An Exciting Event at Citi Field's Clover Home Plate Club
Hip pain is a common reason for patients to seek medical attention. Understanding its cause is crucial in providing proper medical care. This NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Orthopaedic Symposium discussed the many causes of hip pain and and the ways we can help patients recover. The panel included representatives of sport medicine, arthroplasty surgeons, and rehabilitation specialists who provided evidence based information about the different options for treatment of hip arthritis, sport injuries, and various types of hip pain.
The audience for this meeting included primary care physicians, orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, physical and occupational therapists, athletic trainers and nurses. CME credits were provided to participating physicians, therapists and trainers.
