Objectives:
Target Audience: podiatrists, residents, students
> Explain the rarity and high morbidity of talar neck fractures.
> Review the injury mechanism of talar neck fractures.
> Identify complication and treatment goals for talar neck fractures.
> Recognize the mechanism of injury of pilon fractures.
> Review different imaging modalities needed to evaluate pilon fractures.
> Explain how to address various pilon fracture pattens surgically.
