2023 Neuroscience Symposium

Statement of Need:
Neurological disorders impact millions of Americans each year. Physicians and interdisciplinary health care team are to be updated in the latest medical and surgical treatments of neurological disease in order to offer patients the most effective treatment options. Topics to be discussed include: management of sleep and sleep disorders, surgical management of epilepsy, concepts of neurorehabilitation and functional recovery, neurological complications of cancer immunotherapy, headache in the elderly, neurologic complications of CNS infections and HIV, overview of encephalitis, review of multiple sclerosis, NMO spectrum and MOG antibody disorders, new treatments in Parkinson’s disease, and review of ALS genetics, current and future directions. In-depth knowledge of these neurological conditions, and state-of-the-science options for management will aid physicians and health care providers in planning the best strategies for successful patient outcomes.

Primary care physicians, neurologists, ER physicians, residents, fellows, interns, medical students, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses and others caring for patients with neurological conditions.
