Statement of Need:
Hip pain is a common reasons for patients to seek medical attention. It can affect children, adults, the elderly, athletes and non-athletes. Understanding the cause of hip pain is crucial in providing care proper medical care. Treatment modalities can be as simple as rest and ice, medication, to possible minor and and more invasion surgery. The NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Orthopedic Symposium of 2025 will discuss the many causes of hip pain and and how we can help patients recover. Our panel of sport medicine specialist, arthroplasty surgeons, rehabilitation doctors will provide evidence based information different non surgical and surgical options to treat hip arthritis, sport injuries, and various types of hip pain.
